D.U.R.T. Warning

Our runs are not easy!  They are designed for people who are serious about trail running.

  • No sissies.
  • No whiners.
  • No cream puffs!

All runners must take care of themselves.  If you hurt, you may get sympathy, but not much.

There are no aid stations, no cheering fans, no flaming pupus, no coke machines, no dancing girls on the side of the trail.  All you get is the possibility of someone to share your pain.

  • If it rains, we run anyway: we'll just get wet.
  • If it's really, really hot outside, we run anyway: we'll just sweat a lot.

Bring water and drink it or suffer.  If you get hungry, bring food.   Many courses take over four hours to complete.

You are responsible for your own safety.  If you die out there, it's your fault.  Your friends and family will be sad, but they will have only you to blame.   They'll simply have to shake their heads and deal with it.
